Meet Dana

Dana Jokovich, M.A., CCC-SLP
Dana Jokovich is a speech-language pathologist (SLP) and owner of Blooming Buckeyes Speech Therapy with over 14 years of experience in a variety of settings (outpatient clinic, private school, and public schools). With a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Miami University,
Dana holds extensive knowledge in a variety of pediatric communication disorders. Dana is a passionate SLP who has provided speech therapy to children with a variety of medical diagnoses, speech sound disorders, and language disorders. Dana is a dedicated therapist who goes above and beyond for her clients and families. Collaboration with families and schools is imperative and is something Dana strives to achieve in each child she serves. Seeing children’s speech and language skills “bloom” is one of the biggest rewards of being a SLP. Dana believes that therapy does not have to be “work” but instead an engaging, fun, and active process that the whole family can be a part of. Providing unique, engaging, and effective therapy activities, approaches, and plans individualized for each child is one of her favorite parts of being a SLP.
When Dana is not practicing speech-language pathology she enjoys spending time with her family attending sporting events (Go Bucks!), baking, traveling, reading, or doing anything outside!
